Palm Springs Weekend

Whether it be the heat, the stark landscapes, the cool nights, or the most amazing sunsets, there was no doubt I was in the desert last weekend.

Five years I lived in LA, and not once did I make it out to Palm Springs! I tried to make up for lost time last weekend by spending quality time lounging by and in the pool, dragging my butt and the butts of three friends to yoga in the park, and consuming 16 ounces of the locally notorious date shake from one of the many local health nut stores.

But enough with the descriptions, just take a look at the photos:

About Jessie

Thanks for stopping by. This blog was borne in late 2010 as a way to document the sights, eats, and experiences in Guangzhou, China. After two years, six countries, numerous meals, and countless encounters with locals later, I'm back temporarily in Washington, DC (and I love it). I'll be jetting off again to Africa in 2013, so keep on coming back for some good reads!
