A Long Summer


While most peo­ple get back into the swing of things right after Labor Day, it’s taken me awhile to do the same.

The Diplo­Man and I finally moved back to DC at the end of August, into our lovely fur­nished apart­ment (though not with­out its own prob­lems) in a lovely neigh­bor­hood that I’m so excited to explore.

For the next few weeks, I’m going to recap some of my sum­mer trav­els, pho­tos, and rec­om­men­da­tions (for exam­ple, go to Maine and eat lob­ster). These posts might be inter­spersed with some reflec­tions on liv­ing back in the states or some things that I’m cook­ing up right now…in a kitchen sans oven. Yeah, you heard me right. I don’t have an oven.
